Abstract

The Russian youth labor market is characterized by a declining share of employed young people alongside growing demands from employers. The youth labor market faces a number of problems, the most significant of which are unemployment and precarious employment, imperfections in the modern vocational training system, complex educational trends, a mismatch between supply and demand, incomplete legislative framework, and the absence of long-term state policy in this area. Addressing these issues is crucial for ensuring socio-economic development, improving professional and educational levels, and enhancing the standard of living of the country's citizens.
