Abstract

The monograph examines the peculiarities of the formation of value attitudes of young people in the conditions of uncertainty of modern Russian society. The empirical basis of this book is the results of the applied sociological research "Axiological attitudes of Russian youth: meanings, behavioral practices and the potential for consolidation of a multicultural Russian society", implemented by the South Russian Branch of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (South Russian Branch of FCTAS RAS) in the summer and autumn of 2025. As part of the study, focus groups were conducted with young people of two age cohorts ("from 18 to 24 years old" and "from 25 to 29 years old"), who are representatives of the Rostov region and new regions of the Russian Federation: DNR and LNR. The book is intended for students, postgraduates, staff and teachers of higher educational institutions, representatives of youth organizations, government authorities, as well as anyone who is involved in youth policy and is interested in issues of civic and patriotic education of modern youth.
