Abstract

Modern realities are characterized by a surge in cyberbullying using modern advances in communications and digitalization, as well as using artificial intelligence technologies. An increasing number of Russian citizens are becoming victims of modern fraudulent schemes using deepfakes in popular messengers and social networks, and the amount of financial losses has reached almost 7 billion rubles since the beginning of this year alone. This is 2/3 higher than in the same period of the previous year. Modern youth are in a special risk zone, which, due to their "digital inclusion" in mobile and Internet resources, as well as the daily use of various gadgets and mobile devices, is becoming, oddly enough, more at risk in cybersecurity issues. The article presents the results of the author's research on these issues, highlighting youth cohorts and, in particular, the generation of "Zoomers". For the analysis, both secondary sources of information and primary sources of the author's expert survey were used. The findings will be useful not only to representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, who are focused on minimizing all possible risks in this area, but also to all specialists and scientists involved in cybersecurity and information security.
