The aim of the study is to identify the features of migrant women’s life strategies resulting from an increase in the proportion of women in migration flows from Central Asian countries to Russia. The study is also aimed at reducing the shortage of scientifically sound information that can be used in a comprehensive expert assessment of migration policy, and when making proposals for further development prospects of the national project implemented in Russia called «Demography». In her paper, the author uses methods of theoretical data analysis, questionnaire survey, comparative analysis, and systematization. In the context of the study, the concept of a migrant women’s life strategy is interpreted by the author as a set of planned and implemented actions by women, driven by the diversification of opportunities for interstate territorial movements and aimed at achieving economic, family, educational, and self-realization needs. The author provides a theoretical and empirical justification for the formation of migrant women’s life strategies as a result of the feminization of migration flows from Central Asian countries to Russia. The author identifies the life strategies of migrant women from Central Asian countries who arrived in Russia (economic, family, educational, self- realization), and reveals the areas of further scientific research on the study of the life strategies of migrant women.
