Abstract

This article attempts to analyze the peculiarities of the formation of ideas about traditional Russian spiritual and moral values among representatives of working youth. The relevance of the issue under consideration is determined, on the one hand, by the important role of youth in the process of social development, and, on the other, by the high level of precarization among young workers, which causes instability of their social status, which may affect their axiological basis. The traditional values that are closest to modern youth are highlighted, and can also become, in their opinion, the basis for the consolidation of Russian society. The article is based on the results of an applied sociological study conducted by the staff of the South Russian branch of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the implementation of this project, focus groups were held with young people from the Rostov region and new regions of the Russian Federation (LPR and DPR).
