Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of popularization of a healthy lifestyle by medical specialists. The study is based on a review of scientific publications on ways for medical professionals to communicate the principles of a healthy lifestyle, as well as an analysis of the results of a mass survey of Moscow medical professionals conducted with the participation of the authors in 2023. It is shown that from the point of view of medical specialists, Muscovites, regardless of age group, express moderate interest in a healthy lifestyle, among the main barriers are lack of self-discipline, time and effort due to high employment. .At the same time, about a third of the surveyed medical specialists cannot say that they lead a healthy lifestyle, citing the same reasons. It is concluded that medical specialists play an important role in popularizing healthy lifestyle among patients. At the same time, for the full implementation of this function by the capital's medical workers, an organization of work is required that would encourage them to conduct healthy lifestyle themselves.
