A family founded in accordance with traditional values (which include registered marriage) is the foundation of a prosperous society and the mainstay of the state. The study is based on a general scientific methodology that utilizes a systems approach to problem solving. The study was based on official data from the Federal State Statistics Service, analytical reports, and analytical reviews from the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). Using data from the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS) of the Federal State Statistics Service, a comparative analysis of registered marriages by region of the Russian Federation from 1990 to 2023 was conducted. This analysis identified the regions with the highest and lowest annual marriages during the study period.
