Abstract

The article discusses the problem and features of housing provision for residents of the North Caucasus Federal District. In the course of preparing the article, statistical data of economic indicators were used. The analysis of the problem in the dynamics and current state is given, the experience of its solution at the regional level is considered, which made it possible to identify trends and factors affecting the provision of the population with housing. The conclusions obtained in the article allow us to assess the dynamics of the processes of formation of the housing sector in the North Caucasus Federal District. As a result of the study, it was determined that among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, three republics have the greatest acuteness and unresolved problems with housing conditions - Dagestan, Ingushetia and Chechnya. A comprehensive approach to solving the problem of housing in these republics will not only improve housing conditions for the population, but also contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the regions. In the end, the priorities of the regional housing policy are proposed, aimed at increasing the level of housing provision and improving the well-being of the population on this basis.
