Abstract

We are talking about the tendency to reduce the number of nativespeakers of some national languages of the peoples of Russia and the narrowing oftheir use due to the prevailing local administrative practices that indirectly regulate the use of national languages. The conducted research suggests that in the context of aggressive information confrontation, such phenomena can serve as a good basis for the activation of separatist discourses of the "decolonization of Russia."
