Abstract

The article examines variations in the profile of Russian identity in connection with socio-demographic, socio-political and basic values, and, in particular, patriotic dispositions of Russians. The study is conducted on the basis of data analysis, during the application of a fundamentally new multicomponent methodology for measuring Russian identity, which makes it possible to record not only the degree of prevalence, but also the profile (configuration) of Russian identity in terms of the formation of its individual structural components (socio-psychological parameters of identity), such as satisfaction with belonging to the Russian community, cohesion, relief self-stereotyping and homogeneity.
