Seven topics were identified using thematic modeling. The authors of the texts consider the management of educational institutions, failures of the online learning platform and the educational process as the main disadvantages of distance learning. Notably, dissatisfaction is particularly pronounced regarding the quality of instruction in mathematical subjects, physics, and chemistry. Subsequent thematic motifs reveal an excessive workload placed on parents due to their involvement in their children's online education, as well as a significant lack of social interaction among students. Conversely, concerns regarding the high cost of online education and the potential health risks associated with prolonged screen time received comparatively less attention. The results obtained in the study may be in demand in monitoring the quality of school education in Russia, as well as for the development of programs in the field of digitalization of education.
