Abstract

The chapter is devoted to the analysis of sociological research on the attitude of Russians (primarily university students) to a special military operation. In the scientific literature and in the media, it is postulated that after the beginning of its consolidation,Russian society was promoted: a) the threat of a military conflict escalating into a full-scale war; b) the departure of potential / real collaborators abroad; c) the tightening of Russian legislation regarding criticism of the armed forces and the government, which prevents pluralism of opinions in the media and social networks; d) a system of social support for participants in their military and their families; e) popularization of the heroism of ITS participants and volunteers helping them through special programs, visual agitation, ITS museums; etc.The resulting indicators of this multidimensional policy are presented in this chapter.
