Abstract

This article examines the key theoretical positions of Russian scholars on the regional history of the economic and demographic development of the Central Federal District in the 2000s–2010s. Using systemic, comparative-historical, and problem-chronological research methods, it analyzes publications by contemporary scholars on the history of the spatial-economic and regional-demographic development of all subjects of Central Russia.
