Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyze the integrative functions of worldview, the prerequisites and consequences of worldview pluralism, which is a characteristic feature of modern societies. Theoretical and methodological basis of the study. The study is based on a functional approach to the analysis of society, the concept of anomie, comparative historical analysis, and the concept of modernization. Research results. The integrative functions of worldview have been identified, the prerequisites for the emergence of worldview pluralism in modern societies have been shown, and the impact of worldview pluralism on social integration in modern societies has been analyzed.
