Abstract

The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive study in the field of demography conducted in 2025 in the city of Sevastopol. The publication summarizes the materials of two stages of work and reveals the current trends in birth rates, self-preservation behavior, and migration in the federal city of Sevastopol, as well as the institutional conditions for implementing regional family and demographic policies. Based on the analysis of regulatory and strategic documents, the comparison of the best regional practices, and the statistical diagnostics of demographic dynamics factors, the results of a mass sociological online survey of residents aged 18–49 (June–July 2025) are presented, which allow for the identification of the population's reproductive attitudes, barriers to childbearing, and awareness of measures to support families with children
