Abstract

Gender roles for men and women are assigned at birth and are adjusted through socialization, so the degree of similarity and difference between them is important to consider during social integration. Historical memory is one of the coordinates of the matrix of social stability, so social groups' «knowledge about knowledge» of the past and their attitudes toward it are essential for shaping their vision of the future. Sociological research provides information that can be used both to advance scientific knowledge and in practical work with various social actors.
