Abstract

On March 27, 2025, an expanded meeting of the Scientific Council «Socio-Political and Demographic Problems of the Formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)» at the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held in Moscow in a mixed format. During the event, a presentation of the Scientific report «Integration processes in the Eurasian Economic Union: Socio-demographic aspects. To the 10th anniversary of the EAEU», dedicated to the memory of Professor G. I. Osadchaya, was given. The expanded meeting of the Scientific Council was attended by leading scientists, representatives of legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of the scientific community from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The scientific report presented by the authors' team aroused a very lively interest, received positive feedback and recognition from the scientific community. The participants of the expanded meeting emphasized the depth and relevance of the report, the importance of the conclusions and results obtained, as well as the constructiveness of the proposals and resolutions put forward by the authors, effective approaches to solving emerging problems, and an understanding of complex socio-economic, political, and ethnocultural aspects affecting the process of Eurasian integration
