The analysis synthesizes evidence on barriers and supports shaping integration in host societies, including labor-market entry, language acquisition, and housing. Despite strong intra-community consolidation and developed migrant networks, many Tajik migrants report substantial challenges – particularly language barriers and prolonged job searches requiring the adjustment of professional skills to local contexts. Survey evidence further highlights relatively rapid employment for a large share of respondents and a notable concentration in education, medicine, and IT, indicating meaningful economic integration into host-country labor markets.
