Abstract

This article examines the consequences of imposing sanctions: the disruption of supply chains, shortages of high-quality raw materials, a decline in production standards, and an increase in counterfeit goods on the consumer market. Particular attention is paid to measures aimed at countering these negative trends, including improving product labeling systems, establishing a unified database of violators, tightening quality control, and incentivizing domestic production. Drawing on international experience, the article highlights the need for a comprehensive approach to addressing product falsification in order to ensure consumer safety and maintain the population's quality of life.
