In the study, graduates explained their reasons of the career choice, what influenced that choice. They discussed their plans for what they are going to do after graduation, expressed their opinions on the quality of career and technical schools and on the education level necessary to be successful in life. According to the research data, students have a serious motivation to pursue a higher education degree. They believe that higher education will make them to be more competitive in the labor market and will improve quality of their lives. For most of the graduates the career and technical education system is the intermediate, "secondary" step in the planned life trajectory.
