Abstract

In the article the author analyzes the Rosstat data on the interregional labor migration of Russians and the data of the large-scale regional survey Socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Bashkortostan until 2030. Based on these statistics, the author made comparative conclusions about the impact of social and labor factors on the migration potential of the commuters and long-distance commuters; people, who work or study in their place of permanent residence, and people, who do not work or study at all. A social portrait of commuters and long-distance commuters in comparison with other social groups was also made. The conclusion is that the key factors of the labor migration in Bashkortostan are the insufficiency of labor positions with decent wages.
