Abstract

The author analyzes the specifics of the impact of various consequences of the coronacrisis on the indicators of objective and subjective well-being of the employed Russians. It is shown that the pandemic has caused the greatest damage to the material well-being of working Russians. The volume of social guarantees for Russian workers also remains quite low. At the same time, relatively prosperous and disadvantaged groups stand out among the employed population, the impact of the coronacrisis on which has exacerbated the already well- known monetary and non-monetary inequalities. This situation was generally stable before the pandemic, today the risks of polarization of the population to the conditional poles of poverty and wealth are increasing. Subjective assessments of the situation at work indirectly confirm these trends and have their own specifics, consisting in the massive desire of the employed Russians for satisfactory (median) assessments. It is difficult to interpret them as criteria for the stable position of an employee, since the most effective implementation of professional goals is recorded only among those who positively characterize the situation at work, as well as the opportunities available for self-realization and training.
