Abstract

The monograph was prepared by MGIMO scientists of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It includes the results of a comprehensive study of the socio-political and demographic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic at the national and global levels. The ways of countering the pandemic as a challenge for the development of modern society are proposed. It is intended for politicians, public figures, scientists, graduate students, students, and the general public.
