Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of precise formulation of scientific concepts, which are considered as a means of a coordinated attitude to fundamentally important phenomena in the life of society. It is shown how the use of random concepts leads to a distortion of the understanding of the true nature of social phenomena. A critical analysis of the interpretations of the concept of spatial development is given.
