Abstract

The article considers the concept of “civilizational politics” and the possibilities of using it for studies of the Russian ruling elite. This concept has been employed in the field of international relations while it is not so well represented in research on internal politics. Studies of civilizational politics of the Russian elite mostly draw on the constructionist approach and focus on ideological discourses.
