A comparative analysis of the environmental protection indicators of this district with the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District and the Tyumen region is carried out. The statistical indicators of environmental protection from 2005 to 2018 in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug are analyzed. In this work, general scientific methods were applied, such as analysis, comparison, interview. The main material for the analysis of ecology was the data of Rosstat. The assessment of climate and habitat changes is given by one of the indigenous peoples of the North - the Nenets.
