Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of regional media agenda executed with assistance of the Russian Science Foundation (project No. 19-18-00345 «Academic project: manageability of social group formation processes in regions with different levels of socio-cultural modernization and public support for the development strategy of the Russian Federation until 2024»). It identifies significant gaps in the information coverage of the situation in the regions and coverage of national projects. The most urgent problems discussed in the media are the quality of health services and the living conditions of people in the regions, but the information coverage of the implementation of national projects remains at a low level. Moreover, there are no references to feedback from the population, participation in the implementation of projects or involvement in the decision-making process.
