Abstract

As a key condition for the formation and development of human potential, social well-being is designated as the basis for the viability of the family. Social well-being is understood by the authors not only as the antithesis of disorder and poverty, but is also perceived as a requirement for security, the right to decent housing and environmental conditions, the opportunity to receive education and high-tech medical care, freedom of creativity and leisure activities. The development of the socio-cultural potential of the family is of particular importance in the Arctic region.
