Abstract

Based on the study of the transformation of the modern sphere of employment, its classification is identified and characterized, which is based on the differentiation of standard and non-standard employment, formal informal employment, official and hidden employment, stable and unstable employment. The socio-demographic, professional and regional profiles characterizing modern non-standard unstable employment in the Russian Federation are determined and their quantitative assessment is carried out. Trends in the development of non-standard employment and the possibility of realizing its advantages and limiting threats are analyzed. The conclusion is made about the need for a balance of flexibility and employment security; legislative consolidation of signs of non-standard labor relations; development of tools to ensure social guarantees for standard and non-standard employment, creating conditions that support the competition of models of standard and non-standard employment.
