Abstract

The fate of Archbishop Luke (V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky) - 1887-1961 - and his rich spiritual heritage is a very special phenomenon not only of Russian, but also of world culture. It has no analogues, has no analogues in either domestic or foreign history. The hearts of people are always conquered by the image of a man who has lived a life full of suffering and joy, secrets and discoveries, ups and downs and professed high spiritual ideals. His legacy covers more than a dozen scientific fields, and there are many publications on each of them. However, there is no publication about him as a great Russian thinker of the XX century. Our book fills this gap. The path of Archbishop Luke is a life-long feat of a servant of Truth.
