Abstract

Today, there is a contradiction between the need to increase the human potential of each member country individually and the entire Eurasian Economic Union as a whole, to strengthen the positive influence of integration processes on it, the real state of the demographic situation in the member countries, the contradictory influence of integration processes associated with the emergence of many socio-demographic problems, primarily demographic expansion. The integration goals of the EAEU require increasing its human potential due to fertility, mortality and migration in the member states, ensuring demographic security. The population of the Union is its real strategic resource. The study analyzes various aspects of human potential and human capital. Based on the analysis of the demographic situation in the EAEU member states, the authors aim to identify the risks and threats of reducing its human potential, to substantiate the system of indicators and indices of demographic security of the EAEU. Demographic security permeates all spheres of human activity without exception. Understanding the importance of demographic development for the national security of the EAEU member states as a whole, the authors note the need to clarify the content of the category demographic security and to develop indicators and indicators to monitor its status. It is noted that the demographic security of the Eurasian Economic Union is a state of security of its socio-economic development, ensuring the preservation of the geopolitical, economic, ethnic status of each member state and the Union, their integrity, independence, sovereignty while maintaining the existing geopolitical status. The assessment of the dynamics of the human potential of the sustainable development of the Eurasian Economic Union is based on modern approaches to the study of the problems of the demographic potential of societies. The study took into account the possibilities of the countries opened by the functioning of a single integration association.
