Abstract

In modern conditions, the global labor market, as well as the national one, is facing new challenges. In this regard, a number of new trends in the formation, distribution and use of labor resources are being formed, new socio-economic phenomena of the functioning of the labor market, the formation of interaction between market entities are being identified. The article reveals new trends in the formation of labor resources both in the global and national labor market. It is determined that for the modern world labor market in the conditions of post-crisis and geopolitical transformations, a number of pronounced new trends in the reproduction of labor resources have been formed, namely: the strengthening of the gender employment gap, the emphasis on labor-saving transformations in economic activity, the strengthening and transformation of the processes of duality of the labor market, as well as forms of labor inequality, transformation and the specific role of temporary employment, formation and development of digital employment platforms, development of cluster «failures» of the market, the increasing role of circular and return labor migration. The study presents a methodological and econometric description of a number of identified trends, provides recommendations for the possible construction of a labor market management policy in the near future.
