Abstract

The article is aimed at determining the importance of the family as a factor in minimizing the phenomenon of social loneliness. Using the cluster method, a number of criteria-defined groups selected from the general sample of the author's empirical research are considered, and a conclusion is made about those really significant factors that, in the opinion of respondents, contribute to minimizing the phenomenon of social loneliness. In this regard, it is important to identify the family as a factor in reducing such social risks and to assess the risks of transformation of the traditional family construct in society.
