Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration and analysis of the main changes in the alcohol market in Russia during the spread of coronavirus infection. The impact of the pandemic on demand, sale and purchase of alcoholic beverages is considered. A review of data from Rosstat, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation, the Center for Federal and Regional Market Research (CIFRRA), the analytical organization “Businessstat”, etc. is presented. The results of the author’s online study of the urban working-age population aged 18-60+ years (May – August 2020) are used.
