Abstract

The problems of translation of the meanings of the All-Russian civic identity in the field of higher education are investigated. The empirical basis of the study was the data of semi-structured interviews with teachers of humanities departments of Russian universities. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the realization of the goal of forming an all-Russian identity in higher education, in the absence of a single doctrinal space (ideology), depends on the educational institution and its employees. Different models of educational work implementation, highlighted in the course of the study, give rise to different models of interaction between teachers and students, determine certain features of students' reaction to the discussion of topics of civic identity.
