Abstract

The section is devoted to the analysis of the consolidating potential of the main value markers of the all-Russian identity. These are, firstly, ideas about Russia's place in the global world, which determines the intergenerational continuity of the cultural and historical identity of Russians. Secondly, it is an alternative image of a multinational Russia either as a single family with common interests and equal rights, or as a community of ethnocultural entities neighboring within common borders, each with its own special interests and rights. Thirdly, it is the semantic content of value orientations reflecting the socio–political dispositions of Russians, defining their self-consciousness as citizens of a new democratic Russia.
