Abstract

Russia is facing demographic challenges, but young people are putting off starting a family and having children. Based on the analysis of the values and attitudes of young people with different experience of family and marriage relations, it is shown that the current focus on work and career is not infantilism, but the desire to create a solid material foundation for the future family. The ideas of young people regarding state support measures that allow them to successfully combine work and family are revealed.
