Abstract

The chapter analyzes the situation on the Russian labor market on the basis of state statistics and sociological research of student value orientations. The importance of a number of factors determining the life plans of university graduates, including dissatisfaction with the quality of education, the impossibility of self-realization in the profession at the place of residence, the level of wages that does not meet the set of needs formed by the market economy, is revealed. As a result, the migration moods of the most socially and professionally active youth are becoming one of the significant risks for the development of both individual regions of the Russian Federation and Russia as a whole
