Abstract

The purpose of the research in the presented article is a socio-philosophical reflection of the socio-cultural phenomenon of archaization. The methodology of the research is a socio-cultural approach that allows us to explore archaization in the space of social and cultural meanings. At the same time, referring to the domestic socio-philosophical thought of the study of archaization, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to use system analysis to consider this socio-cultural phenomenon. The result of the study is that archaization is not a sociocultural phenomenon identical to modernity, since it contains local and regional intentions. At the same time, archaization is characterized by various archaic practices in the social, economic and cultural spheres of society. Also, recognizing the negative effect of archaization for modern Russian society in the context of social consolidation, the author of the article concludes about the limiting use of archaization at the level of local socio-cultural spaces. The perspective of the research is connected with further understanding of archaization as a scheme of social and cultural practice in the space of modern Russian society.
