Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the digital transformation of education from the perspective of state youth policy. The article is devoted to the study of applied aspects of the digital transformation of society in the field of state youth policy.  The digital transformation of the educational space is connected not only with technological innovations, it has significant social consequences, since under the influence of the digitalization process, the requirements for the competencies of a modern person are increasing. The appeal to the analysis of youth policy in the field of education is due to the challenges and risks that manifest themselves in the process of digitalization. The methodological basis of the research is a set of methods: content analysis, discourse analysis, system method. The appeal to the characteristic of the processes of formation of a network society, one of the manifestations of which is digitalization, led to the use of a network approach in the course of the study. As theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of digitalization in particular and the network society as a whole, a network approach should be singled out, which allows, based on the use of quantitative and qualitative methods, to analyze the multilevel structure of connections and relations of subjects of socio-political and economic processes. Digitalization as a global trend of modernity is changing social institutions and social relations, as well as making new demands on human skills and competencies. State youth policy in the context of digitalization is acquiring new forms and models based on the expansion of the use of digital platforms. In the process of analyzing digitalization, it is concluded that its educational component is undergoing significant changes under the influence of the dynamics of social development. The state youth policy in the field of education is aimed primarily at preparing the younger generation for life in a digital-network society and the formation of skills of the XXI century.
