Abstract

Labor migrants from Tajikistan, as always, in all crises in Russia, became the first victims.  Compared to other crises in Russia, the Ukrainian crisis has greatly affected the situation of labor migrants  from Tajikistan. After the vision of sanctions against Russia by the EU countries and the United States, many  foreign companies left Russia, which led to the loss of jobs among migrants from Tajikistan. The purpose of  the article is to identify the pull factors of the orientation of Tajik migrants towards labor emigration to Russia  and the repulsive factors of the reorientation of Tajik migrants to a new direction of labor emigration to the  countries of the OECD and the Persian Gulf.
