Abstract

In the modern era - the era of transition from industrial society to post-industrial society - in all developed countries there is a growing creative class, whose average level of qualification is higher than that of the working class. Such backwardness of workers in comparison with the creative class characterises the formation pattern of society development. Therefore, analysing the human capital of professionals on a national scale, we get a vision of formational shifts, but information about their depth and specificity escapes us. In order to exclude an error in the analysis, it is necessary to understand to what extent the human capital of professionals in our country is comparable with the human capital of professionals in foreign countries. To fill these gaps, the analysis should be supplemented by their comparison with professionals of other countries. Such an approach will help to determine the direction of practical measures aimed at further improving the quality of human capital of domestic professionals.
