Abstract

The monograph was prepared based on the results of the project under the grant of the Russian Science Foundation (RNF) No. 22-28-01980 Social loneliness: modeling of new family constructs. The monograph examines the assessment of social loneliness as a phenomenon of modern society, as well as the correlation of this phenomenon with family and reproductive behavior of the population. Individual risk groups are identified, factors contributing to increased social loneliness, and the typology of the population is given in the context of the severity of social loneliness. The monograph presents the results of the author's empirical research conducted in the all-Russian format in 2022, and also provides country estimates of the severity of social loneliness in other communities. The results of the study are presented to a wide range of readers and may be useful for students and postgraduates working in the field of sociology of management, sociology of youth, gerontology, studying family and marriage issues, demographers.
