Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the factors and mechanisms influencing the development of domestic academic mobility of students, as well as the self-regulatory foundations of mobility, their connection with broader ideas of youth about education. As a result, it was revealed that the format of interuniversity  academic  mobility  of  students in  Russia is at the  stage  of formation. The  institutional regulation of this process is manifested in the presence of formal legislative norms for network exchanges and  the  creation  of  organizational  conditions  in  universities  related  to  the  possibility  of  building individual educational trajectories, financing the movement and residence of nonresident students, and creating flexible educational plans. The specificity of self-regulation of youth's life activity is manifested in high attitudes towards migration to other Russian regions, especially common among students.
