Abstract

The article presents a preliminary analysis of a rapid survey of young representatives of the Armenian diaspora in the Moscow agglomeration in the context of integration processes in the EAEU in the post-pandemic period. The analysis presented in the article updates and complements the study of the Armenian diaspora in Russia conducted in 2021, during a period characterized by political instability in Armenia and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The article shows that representatives of Armenian youth in Russia have to face certain difficulties that are reflected in certain aspects of their socio-economic situation and social sentiments, primarily in the context of satisfaction with their financial situation. Young representatives of the diaspora are not yet considering the possibility of returning to their historical homeland, but the relatively large number of those who found it difficult to answer may serve as an indirect indicator of a change in this status quo in the future. The article also notes that young Armenians have become more focused on obtaining dual citizenship of Russia and Armenia.
