Abstract

Natural disasters are one of the biggest threats to our planet. Earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods cause enormous damage and often lead to numerous casualties. To minimize the consequences of natural disasters, it is necessary to learn to predict not only the fact of the occurrence of a cataclysm, but also its scenario and consequences. One of the most important components of disaster reduction is the presence of effective early warning systems for various hazards. The international Early Warning for All initiative aims to ensure that everyone is protected through early warning systems by the end of 2027. This article analyzes natural disasters occurring throughout the world and in the Far East from 2000 to 2023.
