Ethics in Engineering: A Call for the Renewal

Abstract

Ethical search for validations of paradigmatical shift in engineering profession is an object of the article. Actual changes in societies and cultures appeal for the new professional engineering ethics. Simple basement of engineering ethics in philosophical or ethical traditions and theories is considered being today not enough. Contrarily, responsibility before future generations, understanding the oneness of the world, juxtaposition of various moral subjects in a morally deep community, and finally the ethic of care seems to be more valid foundations for the crucial renewal of engineering ethics.
