Human capital formation and economic development in the former Soviet Union countries: Sources and methods for the time series construction

Abstract

The article discusses methods for the construction of time series as well as information value of the primary sources and the research literature related to various aspects of human capital in the USSR and the Newly Independent States on its territory (primarily during the Soviet and post-Soviet periods).
