Abstract

The paper is based on a large-scale survey and focused on issues of differences in work conditions and employment relationship among foreign migrant-workers and the citizens of Russia. These issues are investigated from the view point of inequalities coming from gender and citizenship of workers. The research has proven that in all aspects women are more vulnerable since they are discriminated in terms of wages and legal arrangements of employment relationships with the employer. However, women migrant workers appear to be the most discriminated group.
