FEATURES OF MODERN DRUG SITUATION IN RUSSIA

Abstract

The article discusses the mechanism of transformation of the causal complex, which leads to transition to new drugs and new types of drug use. New trends in drug situation in Russia are reviewed and new factors that explain the growth of involvement in the consumption of new drugs are identified. One of these factors is a mismatch between the declared individual social attitudes to health and real narcotic behavior (use of «safe» soft drugs). It is shown that in modern Russian the use of drugs is included in the social context of human life.
